He nodded and smiled at his little hut, he gestured to it, "My home."He noted, "I used to live in a tribe, about 18 winters I spent there,"He said grimly and shook away the thought, "They were slain however, vultures."He snorted shaking his head distainfully, "The cowards rarely fought on land."He said as they entered his adobe, he looked around, and saw that his fire was still out, gradually he laid the vixen down, careful not to make her put any weight on her wound. "That was when I learned to use the bow I did, as did many of the other wolves in my tribe, however the foxes,"He said his eye flickering over her for a moment, "Did the main shooting, hunters, trappers, spotters, and scouts they were, smart."He noted, "I learned much from them."He said smiling reminiscently. He looked to her, "Mind if I look over your wound?"He asked.

"Oh sure." The she-fox said, slowly uncoiling her tail from the injured leg as she looked at the wolf. She was a bit afraid of letting him go near it, but she figured he'd be able to fix it. The female began to start in about what SHE thought of the tribes. "The tribes always turned my mother, sister and I away, because my mother was a loner. My father lived in a tribe." She began, her eyes half shut as she continued. "I made a promise to my sister before she died, to get back at the tribes..." She murmured, releasing a small sigh through her gritted teeth.

He shrugged dismissively as he looked at her leg and nodded, "Well, I'm not in any tribe right now."He noted frowning slightly, "And you may want to revise you plan, as I'm sure you have not visited every tribe,"He began and moved over to one side of his bed, and prepared some herbs, "Your leg is little more then sprained,"He noted, "A few weeks off it should be healing enought, however, knowing you foxes you probably wont be off it for that long."He said eyeing her bemused once again, he contiued to mix the concoction, a thick, green paste, that smelled wretched, "So, since it seems to take your a bit to learn, I'll give you a bit of this for the pain."He said, took out a little pouch, and sighed, "I can make another,"He thought... knowing that he would not relaly want to use it after this, it would smell wretched for months. He shook his head and put the paste in it. He then moved over to her, and dabbed a bit on his fingers, "It smells like piss and shit, but it really does help."He said, and moved to apply it to her wound, though slowly, obviously waiting for her permission. "I can make you a cast."He said, "It will take me the rest of the night though, think you can handle not moving until then?"He asked.

"I suppose so." Ayane said, still a bit revolted by the smell and the slight sting of the mixture. She wondered if there were any other tribes out there. Shaking it away, she decided to just relax, knowing she'd be here for quite some time.

He nodded, and continued to apply the mixture, after he had finsihed he set the pouch with the mixture next to her, within arm's reach, "If it starts to hurt, put some more on... but give it a few minutes to take affect, it's medicine... not magic."He chuckled He then moced over to his bed, and grabbed some rugged hides. He grabbed a bit of rather odd looking thread, it looked almost like a plant of some sort, as it was. It was thin grass fibers entwined together with others to make a thread like substance. He took a stick and began to sow it between two of the hides, he then folded the other side into a cylinder like substance, "So, what exactly happened back at the river?"He questioned as he worked, it was mindless work really, however it took time, time that he thought he might as well get to know his new room mate for the time being in.

"Well...I was in the woods when I tripped over a rock and sprained my ankle." Ayane started, flexing her leg a bit as she spoke to observe it. "And to make things worse, I stepped on a sharp stick and it started to bleed. I've been walking to days..." She ended the small tale- there wasn't really much to tell about it. She gave a small sigh as she licked her lips hungrily, before fluttering her eyes, her tail twitching.

He nodded and thought for a moment, "Well, I'm glad I found you,"He chuckled, "Your wound looks infected,"He added, "I put what's needed to treat the infection in the concoction,"He said pointing to the paste. He then thought for a moment, "So, you've never a tribe to call home then?"He asked her. He then cringed slightly as he accidentally stuck the needle he had been working with into his thumb, he pulled it out and wiped some of the blood off on his leg, then went back to working on her cast. He felt his stomach began to growl, "Are you hungry?"He asked her, looking up from the task. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sorry for not posting in a while, I've been a bit busy with my gf, and schoolwork.

"I've never had a tribe, no. But yes, I am hungry." Ayane replied, flicking her tail once more as he wondered if he had anything to eat. She hadn't eaten in days, even the tiniest morsel would be like heaven's mana to her. She layed back a bit, relaxing where where she sat, her tail now wrapping around her un-injured leg.

He nodded and set down the cast he was making for her, "I'll need to go out hunting,"He said to her, "My clothes should be dry by now,"He added and looked to her, "I can do that now, or finish your cast."He said shrugging, obviously giving her the option to decide.

"Don't you need to fold up the clothes? If so, you could bring them back and then go out hunting, and meanwhile I can fold up your clothes for you." Ayane replied, uncurling her tail as she looked at him. She might as well do him a favor, after all he was doing for her. It would be improper to just sit there the entire time if there was an opportunity that she could do to help around.

He smiled at her, and her gesture, "I only have the two pairs, one of which I will be wearing."He noted. He then thought for a moment, "Do you know how to cook?"He asked her, moving to the door.

"Yes, of course." Ayane said with a nod, placing her front paws together as she spoke. "I also know how to make clothes, I could switch you a new outfit or two, if you want." She added, twitching her tail as she savored the thoughts of her skills. It took her mind off being hungry- this was what she had always done in the wild when she was starving. Focused on her skills.

He smiled at her and nodded, "I would not object,"He said and dipped his head as he left, "If you wish to help perhaps you could cook the meal once I return, so I can focus on that cast."He said. He then went over to the river and got his now dry clothing, he chuckled looking to his pajama like wear, "Well, I guess you got washed after all."He shrugged and handed them to the fae, "I should be back by sunset, maybe a bit past then."He said and began to put on the leather clothes.

"Okay." The she-fox replied, taking the clothes and placing them on her lap, folding them up as she had always done her own clothes. Watching the other leave, she slowly wondered if there was anything around to make him a new outfit or two. Seeing some animal hides and bones nearby, she got up, using her stick for support once more. Picking up some of the long hides, with one of the smaller ones that could easily be used to take apart for string. Then she noticed some bones, perfect to break to make button-like appendages. Picking them up with her free hand, she limped back to where she had originally sat, placing the materials on the oppisite side of her so they weren't near the clothes she had folded earlier.

After he finished putting on the leather outfit he moved over to his bed, and grabbed his cloak, tossing it over his shoulders, and tieing it quickly. With it on he seemed to blend almost perfectly with the landscape. He put on his belt, sliding his knives out of their sheathes testingly, then checking his quiver, and his bow. He took the bow into his hands and padded into the forest, his eyes wandering slightly with every movement passing his visouries. There was a slight breeze toward the south, which he noted mentally. He climbed a tree rather quickly, and began to look around the forest floor, he began to walk quickly, and quietly across the branches in the dense forest. He could do so rather easily now, a skill put to good use since animals rarely thought to look up, other then when they heard noises, such noises he rarely emitted. He stopped midway as he moved across the trees, his eyes narrowed and almost instinctually he drew an arrow, as the scent glided into his nose he let the arrow fly, it flew through the air with a hissing sound. There was a loud yelp as the deer fell to the ground, it's eyes showing that of fleeting life, it's herd was already bounding away, quite aware that their former companion was now dead. Lupe dropped to the ground and walked over to the deer, who was breathing hard now, he had punctured her lung. He set and hand on her side, and made a soothing, hushing sound as he set down his bow. He then drew a knife, and the deer's eyes widened, and slowly settled, realizing she was already as good as dead, he stabbed the knife into her chest, ending her life. Once he was sure she was dead he pulled the arrow out, and wiped it clean. He looked it over, and nodded since it had not been bentm or broken. He then slid it into his quiver and the knife back into it's sheath. He took a vine, and broke it in half he then tied it around the deer's front two legs, and the other half around her back two. He grabbed her by the vine around her back legs and moved her onto his shoulder. He grabbed the bow in his other hand and made his way back to the hut.
