"I am not really hungry." Penn replied, She felt a bit sick, anyway. She stayed close to Britain, coddling tight to his arm like it was a teddybear. L had already gotten them all a seat in the corner of the dining room, just waiting for them to come over. Mr. Yagami sat to one side, Light sitting on the other, a small grin on his lips as he waited for Penn to come over, to ask her what her name was.

"Alright then... are you feeling well?" He asked as he grabbed the cup of tea and nodded a thanks as he turned and head in the direction of L. He sat down next to Light and Penn was of course right next to him since she wasn't letting go of his arm.

"Not really..." Penn mumbled as she relaxed against Britain's arm, leaning on him. Light looked over with a small smile, letting go of his grin to act proper. "Aww, is she okay?" He asked, trying to sound like a normal person. His father laughed a bit as he sipped his coffee, L too busy eating a slice of cake to pay attention.

He let out a small sigh, looking over at Light. "She'll be fine. It's probably because you officers or detectives whatever the bloody hell you are, stressed herself out to much." He practically growled. " She's only 11." And with that he took small sips from his tea.

"I wasn't in the office for half the day." Light said with a shrug, and L gave a slight whimper from where he sat eating, feeling a little guilty. Mr. Yagami yawned and took another sip of tea, figuring it would be useless to join the conversation. Light leaned ahead to look over at Penn with that small smile, trying to see if she was awake. But sure enough, Penn had fallen asleep.

Drinking down the last of his Earl Grey tea, Britain reached over and cut himself a small piece of cake. He finally had his tea. Which meant he felt a million times better. For some strange reason the only one he could really trust was L, and he sat in his chair a bit awkwardly. As for the kid Light next to him just kinda freaked him out a bit. "Uhhh.. Light, you would expect her to be awake?" He mumbled as he took hungry bites from his slice of cake.

"No, not quite. I just wanted to see. Perhaps we should take a trip to the doctor's office before we go back to the headquarters." Light suggested, leaning back in to the seat, pulling out a small piece of paper. Notebook paper. Biting his lip, he wondered if he could write down a scenario with one of the criminals he left alive- for such occasions- without being caught.

Thinking about it, he nodded. "Perhaps, she said she wasn't feeling good, but I'm sure she'll get over it.." Finishing his cake, he looked over at Penn. Britain has never seen her so exhausted. Sighing, feeling tired himself, looked up at L. "I have...questions. First of all, who is this Kira guy you're looking for? And why would you think me and Penn would be Kira? Now that I think about it, how long has he been killing? This whole thing is just really confusing." He leaned back into his seat, crossing his arms.

L lifted his head from his plate of cake, looking around to make sure no one was looking, then replying. "Well... Kira is a man who has been killing criminals, mainly around here, but also around the world. We have never been able to confront him, for he has never shown himself publicly to us. " Light and Mr. Yagami nodded, before Light contributed his part of the story with second Kira. "However, the Second Kira is much more careless. She- or he, whichever, sent tapes out and placed a broadcast station against their will to play the voice tapes. All were distorted, requesting to find Kira. She spoke of shinigamis." L gave a small nod before taking another bite of cake. Then Mr. Yagami decided to add more to it. "My son helped send out responses to these Kira tapes, posing as Kira, to see how the second one would respond. But there was nothing that gave anything away." Light nodded and looked back over at Penn, now he could see her more clearly. If only he had Second Kira here, he wouldn't have to ask their names... "Anyway," L broke in to the silence. "Pennsylvania was originally a suspect because she fills every trait of the Second Kira, and would be the perfect decoy for Kira to use. That everything else was a setup. And since you were the first to be called..." L shrugged as he took another bite. "But clearly, she wouldn't be able to hurt a fly."

"I see.." Rubbing his head he thought. Shinigamis. And killings all over the world. Trying to keep this the most simplest way, and trying not to become a greater suspect. "Well.. you see, we've been having the same results over in England. Some deaths even accured in Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. Most of them were heart attacks, some were suicidal. Falling off building or hanging themselves." He coughed then leaned back into his seat. Maybe he overdid himself a little there. Glancing over at Light he knew exactly why he wanted our names, and Britain had his name. Light Yagami. Sham. He didn't have the notebook with him. He looked back up at the other two detectives. "When your officers captured me I thought they might've been the ones working for Kira. That's why I couldn't stop freaking out."

Light narrowed his eyes, wondering if this man knew anything. "Well. It's quite clear, Kira has been leaving notes." L responded, looking over at Britain, reaching in to his pocket and pulling out the photographs of notes left behind by some of the prisoners around Tokyo that had killed themselves directly after. "We are unable to decode what they all add up to, but they all are part of some sort of sentence." He said, crossing his arms around his knees from where he sat. Penn slowly moved a bit, waking up as she looked over at the notes. "Hm...?" She murmured and she pulled at Britain's sleeve tiredly.

"Notes...?" Reaching over he picked a photo up and examined it. Nodding, he set it back down, still looking at it. "Quite interesting.... How long ago was the last killing?" Gazing at each of the photos, he began to realize that Kira could control people right before they die... something Britain didn't know about the DeathNote. Either way, he remembered where he first found it, hidden in one of the bookselves of a nearby library in England. Penn suddenly was pulling on his shirt, escaping the thoughts. "Penn? Are you feeling better?"

"No..." Penn murmured, coughing a bit as she looked around. She noticed Light was writing on the paper beneath the table, wondering what he was doing. Light quickly finished and checked his watch, having a little set up done. And if asked, he even had something to show that he was writing on, to cover up what he was doing. A shady man walked through the door, a gun latched to his belt, L's eyes widening as he whispered something over to Mr. Yagami who nodded and stared at the man.

Looking over his shoulder a man walked in the door. He stared at the gun, then looked over at L. Mumbling something under his breath he crossed his arms and looked as normal as he could.

Mr. Yagami watched very carefully as the man walked over to the register, and just as L had suspected, he suddenly pulled a gun to the cashier's throat. Light stared at the criminal, keeping his grin hidden with a serious face. Light figured Britain would get up soon too... Hoping that then he could take the kid. Because that nieve child would do anything for him, he could frame everything on her. Penn didn't even notice, staying coddled close to Britain.
